The Faroese Chess Federation officially endorses Lukasz Turlej and his team Renew ECU. This is the first time we have a woman from our federation, running as a candidate for the board elections in the ECU. Katrin D. Apol has been on the board of the Faroese Chess Federation for 8 years, most of them as deputy president. She has done a great work for Faroese chess, and we firmly believe that the European Chess Union would benefit greatly with her in the board, as vice president.
